We are a small, local podiatry office that has been serving the needs in Sumter for over 30 years. Dr. Cahill and his wife Lori are committed to providing personal service and comprehensive footcare for patients of all ages.

Dr. Cahill treats a full range of foot and ankle conditions, from routine preventive care to advanced wound care. All services are provided with personal attention.

Routine & Diabetic Foot Care

Preventive and routine foot exams, with special attention to diabetic patients who require careful foot screening to avoid complications.

Bunions and Hammertoes

Evaluation and treatment for bunions (bony deformities at the big toe joint) and hammertoes, including minor office surgery when indicated.

Heel Spurs

A bony protrusion that forms on the heel, often causing significant pain with walking. Treatment ranges from orthotics to minor procedures.

Ingrown Toenails

Meet the doctor

Dr. James B. Cahill has provided trusted podiatric care to Sumter families since 1988.

Dr. Cahill earned his B.A. in Natural Science from Johns Hopkins University (1978) and graduated from Temple Podiatric School of Medicine in 1984. Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant through Army ROTC, he completed his residency at Fort Benning, Georgia (1984–1986) and served as Chief of Podiatry at Fort Benning (1986–1988).

Licensed in both South Carolina and Massachusetts, Dr. Cahill holds Senior Active Hospital privileges at Tuomey Hospital. He has been a member of the South Carolina Podiatric Medical Association since 1988 and has served on the South Carolina Board of Podiatry Examiners since 1998.

Dr. Cahill and his wife Lori, who serves as Office Manager, have built a practice built on personal relationships and a commitment to community care in Sumter.
